Can you tell us your story so far?
I’m the middle of five sisters, mother of two, and a very happy grandmother. My path has been quite varied — landscape architecture, teaching, Expo '94 projects, even a bowling alley! I’ve always followed opportunities as they came. At 50, I embraced this project with no clear plan — just the desire to organize my father’s legacy and shape a new life from it, intuitively and with purpose.
Next steps for you?
The next steps for me are to see his life story materialized through people and projects, both in Portugal and around the world. There’s nothing more meaningful than ensuring Daciano’s legacy is in good hands.
Best spot in Portugal?
Definitely at home, surrounded by family. If I had to choose… then it would be the Costa Vicentina — wild, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful.
What does style mean to you?
To me, style is all about attitude and personality. It's the way you express who you are without saying a word.
What motivated you to get started with your business?
I started this business to give back the time my father dedicated to his work—by studying and understanding what was missing, I realized how important it was to take the time to share and communicate his legacy.
What's the Band/Music Style/Music Artist that inspires you?
There are a lot of artists that inspire me, but probably the biggest influence for me has been The Beatles. I’m also really into bossa nova and jazz because of their cool vibes and emotion. These days, I love listening to my nephew, DJ Schlingen — he’s super creative and his music is really complex and fresh. It’s awesome to see how music keeps evolving.
Any guilty pleasures worth mentioning?
